Mythology ...
"Without the power of the gods we would not be here today. Trees would not grow, the sun would not shine, and there would be no love or hope. There would be only darkness. Without us, however, they would not be gods, merely powerful beings without purpose. Our faith powers them, and in turn, they guide, protect, and bless us all. Without one, there cannot be the other. Each life, and death, upon this earth empowers them, and therefore blesses all. Never forget that, for faith is our true salvation." |

Bonham |
The Thunder of Surf and Sky, Storm Maker and Ocean Lord. |

And there, atop the mountains, shrouded by mist, Arthur found Him. Bonham lay, as one fighting off a poison, staring at the sky. Arthur comforted Him.
“You are not alone, for I am with you.” Spoke Arthur.
“I drank too much,” uttered Bonham, “for it was a vice. I fell into darkness, then from the very sky, to this place. I do not know where I am.”
Arthur sensed great power within Bonham, and so explained that He had fallen into Avalon. Arthur told his tale to Bonham, of how he came to this place and his desire to build again a kingdom for Camelot.
“You are not a mortal, I can tell. And so I ask you what your power is.” Spoke Arthur.
“I am a thunder maker. And I can make the ocean move.” Spoke He, “Both of which I long to do again.”
Arthur declared, “Then so be it! Come with me to Camelot. Elijah, the Sun, shall heal you and you will take your place among us. The sea and the sky and the thunder they need will be yours to command.”

Bonham is thought of as a large, powerful man with a booming voice and dark, wild hair. He wields a hammer with a head at each end, which he uses to create the thunder and the waves. The few times he has been stirred into combat, it is said he struck so swiftly and so powerfully that it was as if he used four hammer heads, not two. Bonham creates the waves in the sea and the storms in the sky, and then flings them toward the land. Though good hearted, he is a bit unpredictable and can be angered if not paid proper respect.
Followers of Bonham are typically found near the sea or any place that has powerful thunderstorms. His priests are a varied lot. They range from powerful warriors with thunder in their hearts to the peaceful “Rainmakers” that can be found in many small villages. They are also a sea-faring folk, as they are considered a good omen to have upon a ship. One thing that all of Bonham’s followers have in common is their absolute forbiddance from drinking alcohol. It is poison to them and they know that many of the worst storms in history can be blamed on a follower failing in this one demand of Bonham’s faith. They do not completely disdain drinking, but will often warn against it. Those who have problems drinking too much can seek free help with any priest of Bonham.
Ceremonies are not held in typical churches. Instead, they are often held outside, during storms, or upon a ship (docked or not). To attempt to pay him homage from the safety of a building is considered insulting to him. Bonham’s areas of influence are the ocean, storms, thunder, and the sky. His symbol is that of three linked circles, two above one, his two headed hammer and the sky within the top two. Lightning strikes from each head, down into the bottom circle, which contains the sea.
