Mythology ...
"Without the power of the gods we would not be here today. Trees would not grow, the sun would not shine, and there would be no love or hope. There would be only darkness. Without us, however, they would not be gods, merely powerful beings without purpose. Our faith powers them, and in turn, they guide, protect, and bless us all. Without one, there cannot be the other. Each life, and death, upon this earth empowers them, and therefore blesses all. Never forget that, for faith is our true salvation." |

Questor Sanhedran |
The Judge, Grimlaw, the Wise, Lawgiver. |

“You have been found guilty of a crime against your King.” Spoke Questor with power and authority.
And Lancelot wept.
“You have broken your oath to your King and also the sacred vow of husband and wife. The punishment for this is death.”
There was silence in the court as Questor spoke to the most favored of the knights, now fallen. There were none that would question his judgment, such was his wisdom.
And Lancelot raised his head and spoke, “I understand and accept your judgment, Wise One.”
Alas! But death shall not be your fate! You have done many good deeds and you are remorseful. I can see it. But still, you broke the most sacred laws of the Court. And so I decree a fate worse than death, but one you can be rid of!”
Lancelot stood to receive his punishment.
"You shall henceforth be banished from the walls of Camelot and your wings shall remain here!”
At this there was a gasp in the Court and all wondered if Questor’s wisdom had faltered, for this punishment was dark indeed!
“You shall walk the mortal world, as a mortal. You shall learn humility. You shall gain wisdom. You shall regain your former glory and honor. Else wise you shall never step within the sacred walls of Camelot again!”
And once again Questor’s wisdom proved above all others.

Questor preaches law, order, organization, and wisdom in all things. He is the judge of Camelot’s court. His wisdom is unquestioned and his rulings, though sometimes grim, are always fair. He is a firm believer that any one can repent and change their ways, but that punishment must be handed down for wrongdoers. One of his most popular quotes states this plainly, “Mistakes are made, punishment served, and wisdom is gained.” Of course, even to him there are some crimes that are so terrible as to be unredeemable. Murder, rape, wanton destruction, and necromancy are examples of these crimes.
Followers of Questor include judges, lawmakers, and those that enforce the laws of the kingdom. A great number of philosophers and teachers pay him homage for his wisdom as well. His clergy begin their career as a supplement to the law enforcement within the city that holds their temple. As they move up within the church, many go on to become judges, advisors, and other government officials. Others find themselves questing; seeking to bring law to the chaotic or finding wisdom and a deeper meaning to life. And still others begin their days righting wrongs and squashing injustice, then settle down to contemplate all they have learned and share it with any who seek wisdom.
Questor’s areas of influence include all aspects of law, wisdom, punishment, and to a lesser extent, war for the purpose of bringing law, order and wisdom to those who do not have it. His symbol is a scale holding a mace in the left cup and a white owl in the other, perfectly balanced.
